9.0 Trouble shooting
Attention: Follow the safety instructions (section 4.0).
Pond aerator does not
switch on
Pond aerator does not
transport air
Insufficient flow rate
· Check mains voltage
· Replace transformer
· Replace membranes (section 7.1)
· Clean ventilation openings (section
7.0)
· Dismantle pump heads, rinse under
water, let parts dry well(!) and then
reinsert (see replacing
membranes).
· Replace membranes (section 7.1)
· Reduce the length of the air hoses
to the minimum required length;
check air hoses for kinks.
· Check the setting of the regulating
valve.

8.0 Winter care
- Take the
air hoses out of the water
.
-
Clean
the Aqua-Oxy pond aerator thoroughly (see section 6.0).
-
Check
the housing, air hoses and power cord
for damages
.
-
Store
the Aqua-Oxy pond aerator in a
frost-free
location.
- Now
reattach
the
right and left pump head
with the four screws.
Pay
attention
to the
correct left / right orientation
. Both
hose ducts
point in
the
same direction
. (Fig. 5)
-
Put
the
pump back in the housing
in such a manner that it is centred
through the four guide pins arranged in the floor. (Fig. 4)
-
Insert
the
two connecting hoses
on the pump horizontally on the hose
connections. (Fig. 3)
-
Place
the lid of the
sheet metal housing
on in such a way
that no cable
is clamped
in
. (Fig. 2)
-
Refasten
the
lid
with the
four Philips head screws
.
-
Guide
the
cable
through the
apertures in the housing
and then place the
upper part of the housing with the rubber seal
on the lower part of the
housing. (Fig. 1)
-
Screw
the
upper part of the housing
tightly onto the lower part with the
three Philips head screws
.
The Aqua-Oxy pond aerator is again ready for operation.
