Operating instructions
Additional Installation instructions:
Our specified outputs are always measured directly at the pump outlet (without
hose connection and accessories).
To achieve the highest possible pump output, keep the hose connections as short
as possible. Elbows, angles and other connecting elements should be reduced to
a minimum, as they lessen the pump output.
6.0 Maintenance/cleaning
-
Follow
the
safety instructions
(section 4.0).
-
Clean the filter housing
monthly, or if the pump capacity is reduced,
by
using a soft brush
under running water or use the
OASE special cleaner
(order number 52969).
-
Also
clean
the pump in the case of frequent use (for dismantling see section 6.1)
6.1 Dismantling (see figure. page 12)
-
Remove screw.
-
Pull out holding projection.
-
Depress locking button.
-
Remove filter housing (1).
-
Remove the pump from the filter housing (2).
-
If required, loosen the cap nut (9) between pump housing (6) and
swivel joint (7).
6.2 Cleaning the pump
-
Dismantle
the
filter housing
(section 6.1)
-
Clean
the
pump
with a
soft brush
under flowing water.
-
Remove any grime in the rotor through the openings.
Warning: Never open the motor housing. Life threatening hazard!
6.3 Assembly (see figure. page 12)
-
Lay the pump in the lower part of the filter housing (2).
-
Place cable in the cable guide
(for Aquamax 15000 the cable should have
been previously placed in a runner).
-
Further assembly is the reverse sequence of the steps described
in section 6.1.
7.0 Winter care
-
Take the
pump out of the water
.
-
Thoroughly
clean
the pump (see section 6.0)
-
Check
the pump for
damage
.
-
Store
the pump in
frost-free
conditions, in a container with water if possible.
-
Caution: Never immerse the connecting plug!
Important note:
-
Never operate
the pump
without the filter basket
. The filter basket protects
the pump from coarse dirt that can lead to plugging up the pump.
-
Never operate
the pump
without water
(dry run). The pump bearings will be
destroyed!
