FIRMWARE UPDATE
In order to keep the firmware of the EAC Aquarium
Controller up to date, automatic updates of the OASE
app must be allowed on the smartphone/tablet. When
starting the OASE app, it is checked whether the firm-
ware is up to date. Follow the instructions on the
screen when the firmware update begins.
Prerequisite:
•
The OASE app is up to date and connected with the
EAC Aquarium Controller.
The EAC Aquarium Controller settings display the in-
stalled firmware version and whether a more up to
date version is available.
How to proceed:
1.
Open the OASE app on your smartphone/tablet.
2.
In the app, open the EAC Aquarium Controller (un-
der "My Controller“) and call up “Settings”.
3.
Call up “Firmware update”.

The firmware version is displayed. If a more up to
date firmware version is available, this can be
downloaded and installed.

Follow the instruction on the screen to install the
update.

The device password which was assigned when
setting up is required for the installation.
FACTORY SETTINGS
The EAC Aquarium Controller is reset to the factory
settings. All individual settings and data are deleted.
•
Connection data to the WIFI router is deleted.
•
Network name (SSID) and the password of the WIFI
network for the direct WIFIconnection are reset to
factory settings.
•
The device password is deleted.
•
The device list is deleted.
•
EAC Aquarium Controller starts in access point

On the EAC Aquarium Controller , keep the reset
button pressed for approx. 15 seconds until the yel-
low LED flashes.
2.
Release the button.

The green LED goes out and the yellow LED is
switched on for approx. 10 seconds. The yellow
LED goes out and the green LED is switched on.
–
Factory settings are now restored.
