Warranty

This OAKTON

®

thermometer/timer is warrantied to be free from significant

deviations in material and workmanship for a period of six months from
date of purchase. If repair or adjustment is necessary and has not been 
the result of abuse or misuse within the six month period, please return—
freight pre-paid—and correction will be made without charge. We alone will
determine if the product problem is due to deviations or customer misuse.
Out of warranty products will be repaired on a charge basis.

Return of Items

Authorization must be obtained from your OAKTON

®

distributor before

returning items for any reason. When applying for authorization, please
include data regarding the reason the items are to be returned.

NOTE: We reserve the right to make improvements in design, 
construction, and appearance of products without notice.

Accuracy: ±3.6°F (±2°C)
Alarm: chimes for 5 min when preset temperature is reached

Timer

Range: Counts down from 23 h, 59 min and 59 sec
Resolution: 1 sec 
Accuracy: 2.5 sec per day
Alarm: chimes for 1 min when your preset time is reached. 

Once alarm sounds, timer will count up from 0:00:00 to 
indicate elapsed time from set point.

temperature set point, and timer

CAUTIONS:
1. Always wear a heat-resistant glove to touch

the probe or probe cable while it is hot.

2. Keep the metal probe and probe cable away

from children.

3. Do not expose display housing to water or

rain, direct heat, heated surfaces, or direct
sunlight. These may cause damage to the
housing or electronics.

4. Do not use in a microwave oven.

5. Although the probe cable may be immersed 

in water, water drops or vapors inside the
plug-in opening of the thermometer will
result in a poor connection and therefore an
incorrect temperature reading. Dry the 
sensor plug with a cloth every time before
you plug it in.

6. Constant exposure of the the probe cable to

temperatures at 392°F (200°C) will shorten
the life of the of the cable.
