• Clean the mounting surfaces of the scanning head and the machine element�
• Remove the protective film from the scanning head�
• Clean the sensor surface of the scanning head with a soft and lint-free rag� Use a
solvent if necessary (e.g. Acetone or Alcohol).

• Screw the scanning head onto the prepared mounting surface such that there is still
some vertical clearance�
Please pay attention to the specified screw depth. This must be a minimum of
5.5 mm and a maximum of 7.0 mm.
