The appropriate symbols also
indicate whether temperature was
measured in the ear or at the
temple.
5.10 Switching between °C and °F
1. If the device is in “Room temperature”
mode, press and hold the SCAN button 2
whilst simultaneously pressing the ON/
MEM button
7 for 3 seconds.
The character in the LCD display 3
changes: “ °C ” to “ °F ”.
2. The same procedure applies when
switching from °F to °C.
5.11 Silent mode
You can switch off the sounds using silent
mode.
1. With the device switched on, press
Standby (ON/MEM) button 7 .
The silent mode symbol starts
flashing in the LCD display
3 .
Release Standby (ON/MEM) button 7 again
to activate silent mode.
The same procedure applies when
deactivating silent mode.
5.12 Switching off the device
To switch off the thermometer, press and
hold the Standby (ON/MEM) button
7 until
"OFF" appears in the LCD display 3 .
