Operating Instructions 

 
This humidifier should be placed under ambient temperature for half an 
hour before it is put into use for the first time. 
The desired operating environment for this humidifier is:

  Relative humidity: maximum 80%RH 

Use clean water, temperature below 40C (purified water is recommended) 
Clean the Water Basin and Water Tank after long storage. 
It is normal to find a small quantity of water remaining in the Water Tank 
when the unit has stopped running. 
 

  Remove the Water Tank and turn it upside down.    Remove the tank 

cap and fill with fresh cold water (never use hot water). Put the cap 
back onto the Water Tank tightly and place the Water Tank back onto 
the Base Unit. 

  Put the Nozzle into the slot at the top of the Water Tank. 

  Connect the Power Cable and switch on the Main Switch (turning on 

the Main Switch without water can cause damage the unit). The Power 
Indicator light will be turned on and the unit will begin to function. 

  Adjust to the desired output by tuning the adjustment dial clockwise to 

increase output or anti-clockwise to decrease output. 

  When all the water in the tank has been used the humidifier will stop. 

Unplug your humidifier, remove the tank and refill it with cold water 
following the instructions outlined above. Please ensure you unplug 
the unit before re-filling. 
 

IMPORTANT DO NOT USE WITHOUT NOZZLE FITTED CORRECTLY 
 
NOTE DO NOT LEAVE ANY WATER IN THE HUMIDIFIER WHEN YOU 
STOP USING IT. WATER LEFT IN THE HUMIDIFIER MAY CAUSE 
BACTERIAL GROWTH THAT COULD HARM THE HUMIDIFIER'S 
PERFORMANCE 

 

YOUR HUMIDIFIER REQUIRES REGULAR CLEANING TO PREVENT 
THE BUILD UP OF IMPURITIES & BACTERIA.  WE RECOMMEND 
THAT YOU RINSE THE TANK EVERY DAY AND CLEAN YOUR 
HUMIDIFIER EVERY WEEK. 

Daily maintenance

Unplug the humidifier. 

z

 

Empty the water tank and rinse with water, use a brush or soft cloth to 
remove any stains from the inside and outside. 

 

Weekly maintenance (depending on usage) 

z

 

Unplug the humidifier. 

z

 

Empty the water tank.    Disinfect the tank by adding 5ml (1 teaspoon) of 
bleach to approximately half a tank of cold water.    Replace the tank cap; 
shake the tank to allow all the surfaces to be come wet.  Leave the 
solution in the tank for about 20 minutes, shaking the tank every few 
minutes to keep all the surfaces wet.

Alternatively substitute a sterilising solution, suitable for Baby’s feeding 
products. 

z

 

Empty the water tank and rinse thoroughly to remove any bleach smell.             

z

 

Clean the water channel with a damp soft cloth.             

z

 

Gently scrub the area around the transducer with a soft brush.    If scale 
has built up in this area it can be removed with a descaler suitable for 
plastic kettles.  Do not turn your humidifier on during the cleaning or 
descaling process. 

 

BS Plug Wiring 

 
Wiring Instructions:  Should it be necessary to change the plug please 
note the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the 
following code: 

BLUE – NEUTRAL     

 

BROWN - LIVE

 and must be connected to the 

terminal that is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.

The 

BROWN

 wire is the

 LIVE

 and must be connected to the terminal 

that is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.

Neither wire

 is to be connected to the terminal which is marked with 

the letter E or   or coloured 

GREEN

 OR 

GREEN/YELLOW

Always ensure that the cord grip is 
positioned and fastened correctly. 

 
If a 13A (BS 1363) fused plug is used 
it must be fitted with a 3A fuse. If in 
doubt consult a qualified electrician.
