II. Add camera:
Allows you to configure the camera and add them to the recorder. Upper window
displays cameras discovered by the NVR. To change the addressable cameras, click on the icon in
the column EDIT (This works with cameras NOVUS IP 6000 series).
Before adding cameras to the system, make sure that they have a unique IP address.
Enter the address in the IP ADDRESS field and set the masks in the SUBNET MASK, then press the
OK button to save the settings.
In the lower window there is a list of available channels, it is possible to change the name of the
channel after clicking in the EDIT field.
NOTE: The process of adding NOVUS IP 6000 series cameras with software 5.1.x and higher in which
the activation process has not been carried out cannot be correctly carried out in the start
-
up wizard.
(NVR software v1.4.6 publication date 2021012). You can check the camera firmware version in the
VERSION column. The description of adding a camera with fw 5.1.x and higher is described in chapter
4.4 of this manual.
