6. DEFAULT IP CAMERA SETTIGS
NOVUS IP cameras have a software (via browser) and hardware (when pressing reset button) option
to restore factory settings.
6.1. Factory software default
Factory software default causes restoration of all default settings of the IP camera apart from network
settings. The camera will be re-started and it will take about one minute. Option to restore the factory
default is described in
SYSTEM UPDATE
(chapter 4.2.1, point “c “) tab.

To restore factory default including IP address and network setting, please follow the list below:
•
remove power cord
•
press and hold the
RESET
button of the back of IP Camera
•
power on the camera. Don’t release the button during the system booting, it will take around 30 sec
•
release the button when camera finishes initialization process.
•
log in to the camera after 1 minute using the default IP (http://192.168.1.200), and user name (root)
and password (pass)
Reset button in NVIP-TC2400D/MPX1.3-II camera is located between circuit boards and is shown in
the picture. To press it you have to use non metal element, for e.g. a match
