4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Power supply connection
Device should be supplied only from a power sources whose parameters are an accordance
with those specified by the producer in the camera technical datasheet. Therefore, it is forbidden to
supply the camera from power sources with their parameters unknown, unstable or not meeting
the producer’s requirements.
4.1.1. 12VDC power supply
4.1.2. 24VAC power supply
(NVDN-421H/IRH-2 model only)
Connecting 24VAC power supply is similarly to connecting 12VDC, but the polarity makes no
difference in this case.
4.2. Installation
Make sure the location can support 5 times the total weight of the bullet camera. Be careful not to
jam or peel insulation covering of the cable. This may result in malfunction or a fire hazard.
Unscrew the mounting bracket screw counter-clockwise (NVDN-401H/IR).
Unscrew the mounting bracket from the camera connector.
Place mounting bracket of the camera in a desired place and use its mounting holes as a
drilling pattern.
Drill holes for screws .
Put dielectrial paper on the wall/ceiling, at the point of camera attachment.
Fix
mounting
bracket
to
the
ceiling
or
wall
with
3
(NVDN-421H/IRH-2)
or 4 (NVDN-401H/IR) screws and put the cables in main hole or in troughs.
Attach the camera connector to the mounting bracket and screw the locking ring clockwise
(NVDN-421H/IRH-2).
Attach the camera connector to the mounting bracket and screw the mounting bracket screw
clockwise
(NVDN-401H/IR).
