BACKLIGHT

These compensation functions allow to enhance visibility of the objects located in the foreground,
surrounded by strongly illuminated background (BLC) or for enhancing visibility of the objects
located near the strong light source (HLC).
BLC
BLC function allows to enhance visibility of the objects located in the foreground,
surrounded by strongly illuminated background. Pressing
RETURN
button in this
mode displays the following menu:
Submenu presented above allows to set the size and location of the area where the
BLC
function is active, furthermore it allows to set the sensitivity of the function.
BLC LEVEL
sets the function’s sensitivity (LOW, MID, HIGH)
TOP
adjusts the top edge of the zone in 0-15 range
BOTTOM
adjusts the bottom edge of the zone in 1-16 range
LEFT
adjusts the left edge of the zone in 0-15 range
RIGHT
adjusts the right edge of the zone in 1-16 range
RETURN
returns to a higher-level menu
HLM
High light compensation function. It allows to enhance visibility of the objects
located near the strong, point light source. If a strong, point light source appears on
the screen , function will mask it allowing for effective observation of the scene
itself (this function is best used to, for example, observe licence-plates of the cars).
Selecting displays the following screen:
HBLC MANUAL
Opening displays a window allowing manual setting of HLM parameters,
in the same manner as described in part concerning the BLC function.
