4.1 Changing the operating modes (switching between AHD, CVI, TVI, analog 960H)
4.2 Controlling the camera menu
The camera has an OSD menu displayed in the foreground of image. To navigate menu and make
changes, you can use the joystick built into the camera cable, the optional UTC remote control, or
PTZ function on the Novus AHD recorder.

In order to be able to control the camera's functions, please select
COAX
protocol in the DVR: in the
Device
section of the DVR menu, in the
PTZ
tab select the channel corresponding to the camera, then
select the
COAX
protocol for this channel and save the changes.
To enter to the camera menu, press the joystick, which sends
ENTER
command to the
device. To choose submenu, select the
UP, DOWN
directions. If the sub-menu
contains the symbol
that indicates the opportunity to enter to the settings by
pressing the
ENTER
key. To change the parameters of selected items, press
LEFT,
RIGHT
buttons.
Operation of the camera menu using the optional remote control is possible only when the
camera is running in AHD 1080p, AHD 720p or analog 960H mode.
To change the camera operating mode, use the joystick built into the cable.
Switching between AHD, CVI, TVI and analog 960H modes is done by tilting the
joystick in the appropriate direction and holding it for about 5 seconds.
To activate the analog 960H mode, tilt the joystick up, TVI mode - right, CVI mode
- down, AHD mode - left.
The default (factory) operating mode of the camera is 1080p AHD.
The above description applies to the optional Novus remote controller, model
NV-RCUTC-35HD
(available separately).

buttons, to change the parameters of selected items.
