Firewall

The MiFi 5510 firewall determines which Internet traffic is allowed. The Firewall menu contains the
following sections:

•

VPN Passthrough

— Enables or disables the VPN feature and allows or disallows connected

devices to establish a VPN tunnel.

•

If this is

(enabled), this feature allows VPN clients to connect through the MiFi 5510 to

remote VPN Servers. Normally, this option should be enabled.

•

If this is

OFF

(disabled), VPN clients are not allowed to connect.

•

IPv6 Transparent Mode

— Allows connected devices to be accessible from the Internet.
