lead can only be replaced with a special tool by our service department.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE = NEUTRAL
BROWN = LIVE
GREEN - YELLOW = EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with
the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured green-yellow must be connected to the earth terminal
which is marked with the letter E or or coloured green and yellow.
If a 13Amp plug is used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution
Board.
On the bottom of the waffle iron/sandwich-maker there is a ‘reset’ button which is part
of the mechanism that prevents over-heating. If the machine is used for an extremely
long time it will be automatically turned off. When this occurs, after the machine has
cooled down sufficiently it can be turned on again by pressing the ‘reset’ button.
If the mechanism continually turns the machine off, then there is a technical problem
and the machine should be taken in for servicing.
