Function control
To obtain trouble-free operation of the suction pump all the components and functions of the pump system
have to be tested prior every assignment.
General functions:
1.
Use the power switch “On/Off” at the front of the device, to switch the device on, switch is illuminated.
2.
The vacuum pump is running.
Suction pump:
1.
Use the power switch “On/Off” at the front of the device, to switch the device on, switch is illuminated.
2.
The vacuum pump is running.
3.
Hold hand in front of the «Exhaust» (rear of the device). Airflow is perceptible.
4.
Turn Vacuum Controler clockwise (equivalent to vacuum maximum).
5.
Control vacuum intensity at the opening of the cannula. Strong suction performance.
6.
Turn Vacuum Controller anticlockwise all the way to the stop (equivalent to vacuum minimum).
7.
Control vacuum intensity at the opening of the cannula. Weak suction performance.
8.
Use the power switch “On/Off” at the front of the device, to switch off device, switch is not illuminated.
If the manometer shows only unsuffisiant vacuum (< - 0,5 bar), the system is not airtight. This indicates that
connections are lose, the seals are worn out or a technical defect occured.
