Press UP button or DOWN button to select the following sub-menu,
a. DEL (Delete) CALLER ID:
This is used to delete a single or all Call
Records. See the section "DELETING CALL
RECORDS" for details in page 21 and 22.
b. EDIT BASE NAME:
Set to give and edit the name or description of base unit.
1. In BASE MENU, press UP or DOWN button
to search for "EDIT BASE NAME".
2. Press OK button to select.
3. Enter the name, character by character. You can enter up to 9
characters. Locate the character on the keypads 0 hrough 9. See
NAME ENTRY TABLE in page 16. Press once to enter the first
character, twice for the second character, etc.
To create a space between characters and words, press # or * once
after the last entered character. If you make a mistake, press
DELETE button to delete the character on the left of the cursor.
4. Press OK button to save.
5. Press CANCEL button to return to standby mode.
c. SET PASSWORD:
This menu is used to add security in accessing the BASE MENU
functions. It allows you to set the access code (6 digits) of the base
unit. When it has been set, the LCD Display will show "ENTER PASS
WORD" when base menu is selected.
1. In BASE MENU, press UP or DOWN button to search for "SET
PASSWORD".
2. Press OK button to select.
3. Enter the 6 digits password you want to
store. If you make a mistake, press
DELETE button to delete the character
on the left of the cursor.
4. Press OK button to confirm.
5. Enter again the 6 digits password.
6. Press OK button to save.
7. Press CANCEL button to return to standby mode.
NOTE:
If you forget the entered password please do the flowing steps.
Un-plug the DC jack from the base unit. Press and hold the PAGE
button then plug in the DC jack. Release the PAGE button once the IN
