Cutting

Read and observe the instructions 

in the chainsaw manual – especially 

the safety precautions.

ngage the chainsaw’s 

bumper spike for cutting.
Only use the bottom of the bar for 

cutting.

Logs up to about 

 4 feet (

Buck the longer end of the log and 

check the stability of the sawbuck 

after every cut.

Logs longer than 

4 feet (

Start bucking at the 

shorter 

end of 

the log – until the remaining length 

to the spike frame is
