Use the sawbuck only on 

flat, firm 

and level

 ground.

Lay the sawbuck flat on the ground.

Swing the support frame up.

Swing the two stays up and secure 

them to the support frame with two 

bolts and wingnuts.
Check stability of sawbuck.

Check the condition of the sawbuck 

before starting work:

– Properly assembled (wingnuts 

firmly tightened)

– No damage
– Complete
– Stable

Adjusting the spike frame

The spike frame
