Corrective Action
None of the LEDs
turn on when I turn
on the Business
Secure Router.
Make sure that the Business Secure Router’s power adapter is connected to the
Business Secure Router and plugged in to an appropriate power source. Check that
the Business Secure Router and the power source are both turned on.
Turn the Business Secure Router off and on.
If the error persists, you likely have a hardware problem. In this case, contact your
vendor.
I cannot access the
Business Secure
Router via the
console port.
1. Make sure the Business Secure Router is connected to your computer's serial
port.
2. Make sure the communications program is configured correctly. Configure the
communications software as follows:
•
VT100 terminal emulation
•
9 600 b/s is the default speed on leaving the factory. Try other speeds in case the
speed has been changed.
•
No parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, data flow set to none.
