FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE
IMPORTANT: To activate your console and begin
using its exclusive features, see assembly step 21
on page 17.
The treadmill console offers a selection of features
designed to make your workouts more effective and
enjoyable. During your workouts, you can change
the speed and incline of the treadmill with the touch
of a button. As you exercise, the console will display
continuous exercise feedback. You can even measure
your heart rate using a compatible heart rate monitor.
See page 23 for information about purchasing or
using an optional heart rate monitor.
With an iFIT
®
subscription, you can connect your tablet
or smartphone to the console to enjoy unlimited access
to iFIT’s library of thousands of studio and destination
workouts. Each workout automatically changes the
speed and incline of the treadmill as an iFIT coach
guides you through the workout. You can even cre-
ate your own workouts, record your workout results,
set and track fitness goals, and access many other
features.
You can also listen to your favorite workout music or
audio books with the console’s sound system while you
exercise.
To turn on the power, see page 20. To use the man-
ual mode, see page 20. To use an iFIT workout, see
page 22. To use a wearable heart rate monitor, see
page 23. To use the settings mode, see page 24. To
use the sound system, see page 25.
IMPORTANT: If there is a sheet of plastic on the
console, remove the plastic. To prevent damage
to the walking platform, wear clean athletic shoes
while using the treadmill. The first time the tread-
mill is used, observe the alignment of the walking
belt, and center the walking belt if necessary (see
page 28).
Note: The console can display speed and distance in
either miles or kilometers. To find which unit of mea-
surement is selected, see THE SETTINGS MODE on
page 24. To change the unit of measurement, press the
STD/MET button. For simplicity, all instructions in this
section refer to miles.
