Adjusting the Position of the Backrest
To adjust the position of the Backrest (41), first loosen the
indicated Adjustment Knob (9). Pull out the Knob as far
as possible and slide the Backrest Frame (15, not shown)
to the desired position. Release the Knob so that it snaps
into one of the adjustment holes on the Backrest Frame.
Fully retighten the Knob.
Using the Leg Lever Lock
Some exercises, such as the preacher curl, can be per-
formed more comfortably with the Leg Lever (29) locked.
To lock the Leg Lever (29), turn the Leg Lever Lock (11)
until it engages the Pad Tube (28) on the Leg Lever.

Converting the Press/Fly Arms
To use the Press/Fly Arms (84, 85) as fly arms, insert the
Adjustment Pins (20) into the inner holes in the Press
Frame (12) (see inset drawing A).
To use the Press/Fly Arms (84, 85) as press arms, insert
the Adjustment Pins (20) into the outer holes in the Press
Frame (12) and the tabs on the Press/Fly Arms (see inset
drawing B).
Make sure that the Adjustment Pins (20) are fully
inserted into the same holes in both sides of the
Press Frame (12) before performing any exercises.
