Replacing a slave TRX

Make sure the TRX that you are replacing is a slave TRX (slots 2, 3, or 4).

Replacing a slave TRX

1.

Connect your Nokia BTS Manager PC to the LMP connector on the
interface unit.

2.

Block the TRX using Nokia BTS Manager (if the sector is not already
locked from the BSC). In the

Supervision - Equipment View

window, right

click on the TRX image and select the BLOCK button in the

Object

Properties

 dialogue window (see Figure 9).
