Advanced manual search
The information that must be entered in this menu is available in
TV magazines or on the Internet.
You can use this menu if you are looking for some "special" chan-
nels (i.e., non-DVB standard channels) that can only be found when
you have entered the necessary settings here.
•
Channel
:
Select the channel you want to search for.
•
PID Video
: Enter the PID (Packet Identifier) for the video signal.
•
PID Audio
: Enter the PID for the audio signal.
•
PID PCR
: Enter the PID for the PCR (programme Clock Reference).
• Press
ok
to tune in channels using the given parameters.
All channels that are located using the advanced manual search
will automatically be given a generated name, e.g., P0001 for
the first channel, P0002 for the second, etc.
Press
ok
to save the new channel or
back
if you not want to save it.

To open this menu, you will be asked to enter your access code.

access code is set to 1234 at the factory

You can adjust the audio/video settings for your receiver.
• Press
opt
to view the TV picture on the screen.
TV screen format
Select your TV screen format.
The 4:3 format is the standard format for most TV screens.
Select 16:9 for a wide-screen TV.
Horizontally adjust the picture
Adjust the horizontal position of the TV picture using the
cursor
left/right
button.
Transparency level
Adjust the transparency level of the graphics in the menus using the
cursor left/right
button.
Digital audio format
Select an audio format for digital output (the upper audio output
on the rear of the Mediamaster). Select AC-3 when the sound is
transmitted in Dolby™ Digital format. Select PCM for ordinary digital
sound.
NOTE
: when you select AC-3, there will not be any sound
output from the analogue audio connections.
