Accessory settings
This submenu appears only after the
phone has been used either with the
headset HDC-5 or the car kit PPH-1.
Headset HDC-5
Shortcut: Menu 4-4-1. When using
the headset HDC-5, the following
options are available:

Shortcut: Menu 4-4-2. When using
the car kit PPH-1, the following

Automatic update of date

Shortcut: Menu 4-5. This network
service updates the clock in your
phone in accordance with the
current time zone. The following
options are available:

updates the time and date
automatically.

Confirm first

confirmation for the update.

no updates are done.
Call settings
Anykey answer
Shortcut: Menu 4-6-1. When this
function is set on, you can answer an
incoming call by pressing any key
briefly, except the power key,
and
Reject
.
Automatic redial
Shortcut: Menu 4-6-2. When this
function is set on, your phone will
make up to ten attempts to connect
the call after an unsuccessful call
attempt.
Speed dialling
Shortcut: Menu 4-6-3. When this
function is set to on, the names and
phone numbers assigned to the
speed dial keys
to

be dialled by pressing and holding
the corresponding number key.
Pressing and holding the

dials your voice mailbox number.
Call waiting options
Shortcut: Menu 4-6-4. When this
network service is activated, the
network will notify you of a new
incoming call while you have a call
in progress. The phone sounds a soft
alert tone.
Own number sending
Shortcut: Menu 4-6-5. With this
network service you can set
whether your phone number is
shown to or hidden from the person
that you are calling.
