The EC700 icon will appear on the display
while the TCU700 is under its control.
TCU700 will search for a signal from EC700
once a minute. It can therefore take up to a
minute for TCU700 to update its settings to
match EC700.
TCU700 can be overridden locally to the com
-
fort or setback temperature for shorter periods.
EC700 will take over control again when the
weekly program for the zone changes status.
TCU700 cannot be set locally to frost protec
-
tion or stop while under the control of EC700.
Example:
You arrive home early from work and decide to turn up
the heat even though according to the weekly program on
EC700 the heaters will remain in setback mode for another
hour. You switch TCU700 to comfort, and the heating
turns on. When an hour later EC700 switches the zone
to comfort temperature, the EC700 control system takes
over TCU700 again. TCU700 will then follow the comfort
setting until a new change comes from EC700.
