Attach the front part of the unit by placing
it over the hooks on the top of the rear and
clicking down firmly. TCU700 is now ready
for use.
The indicator at the top right corner of the
display shows how much current is left in the
batteries. When the batteries need replacing,
open the unit with a screwdriver (as shown
on previous page) and introduce two new AA
batteries.
The figure at the bottom of the display shows
the temperature measured in the room.

The left hand button -
toggles between stop and frost protection.
The right hand button -
toggles between comfort and setback
temperature.
The up and down arrows -
set the
temperature.
Comfort temperature: 7-30°C. Cannot be set to
temperatures lower than 3° above the relevant setback
temperature. Red diode on heater lights up.
Setback temperature: Recommended 3-5°C lower than the
comfort temperature. At comfort temperatures lower than
8°C, the setback temperature is set to 5°C. Green diode on
heater lights up.
Frost protection temperature: Permanently 7°C. •
Green diode flashes at 1.5 second intervals.
Stop: The receivers are turned off completely and no heat
is emitted. Green diode flashes at 10 second intervals.
