Checking the balance:
- Couple PTO shaft on machine side.
- Slightly lift the machine from the ground.

Start the PTO drive and increase speed
progressively up to a steady speed of 540 min
-1
.
- When mounted correctly, the rotor must rotate
without causing the machine to vibrate.
Put the lighter pairs in the center of the rotor and
the heavier pairs to the edges.
- Fit the knives according to the direction of travel of
the machine.
- Check that there is still 1 to 2 mm (0.04’’ - 0.08’’)
play between the pair of knives and the supports.
