3. ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTIONS
The
Clinox REC
allows to clean both MIG welds and TIG welds. The torch is connected to the liquid tanks, where it is
possible put the same electrolytic solution or solutions with different characteristics (more or less acid).
Pay attention:
adequate protective devices, such as gloves and goggles are necessary to operate
with the machine (
Safety Regulations Par. 2
).
Pay attention:
do not use products which are different from the one stated in this operating manual and do
not mix it with other products, in case of use of other products any guarantee will be
invalidated.
MIG BOMAR

for weld-cleaning
MIG BOMAR POLISHING
(
41
)
for polishing (to use with a specific kit (electrode
24d
; internal collector
25d
; pad

).
Pay attention:
Every time you replace the electrolytic solution is necessary to rinse the tank (13)
with water to remove any debris and replace the filter.

In the
Clinox REC
tank the electrolytic solution is in a closed recirculation circuit so it is re-usable for a longer time.
The
Clinox REC
is able to recover the fluid used during the process. Due to a suction system integrated the electrolyte
solution is captured by the torch (
19
) and conveyed back to the tank (
13
). The solution MIG BOMAR (
40
) has to be paid
into the tank (
13
) and must necessarily be replaced only when on stainless steel appear dark halos.
For filling or replacing the electrolyte solution MIG BOMAR (
40
)
use appropriate protective equipment such as
gloves and goggles
(
Paragraph 2
) and follow the instructions below.
1. Disconnect Clinox REC from the mains.
2. Rotate the two locking plates (
16
) and lift the lever (
17
); tank (
13
) will rely on the vehicle floor and can be
removed.
3. Remove the filter from the tank. Fill the tank with the new electrolyte solution. The tank (
13
) contains
approximately 6L solution.
When replacing the electrolyte solution
:
4. Rinse the tank (
13
) to remove any debris.
5. Unscrew the lock nut of the filter and replace filter
(*)
. To assemble the tank (
13
) do backwards.
Pay attention
:
The exhausted electrolyte solution and the filter are considered hazardous waste and must be
disposed according to regulations (
see par. 11
“Disposal and scrapping”)
.
NOTE
(*)
:
Pay attention during the filter installation because the filter of MIG BOMAR (40) solution is
different to the filter of MIG BOMAR POLISHING (41) solution.
