Lock/Unlock the Pump Button
• Slide the lock to the CLOSED position to lock the pump button ( position).
• Slide the lock to the OPEN position to unlock the pump button ( position).
Lock/Unlock the control panel
To lock/unlock the control panel, press the Lock/Unlock button.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down before cleaning
and maintenance.
• Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• NEVER immerse the appliance in water.
De-scaling
For the best water quality,
Nisbets Essentials
recommend that a water filter is installed to the mains water
supply, particularly in hard water areas. Doing so will reduce the build up of limescale and contaminants in the
water tank thus maintaining energy efficiency and prolonging the life of the appliance.
To de-scale the appliance:
• Fill the inner pot with water and lemon juice (or a suitable de-scaler), and boil.
• Discard the solution. Note: Always run water through the appliance after descaling to rinse the inner
pot and tubes.
Note: Use a suitable de-scaler and always follow the instructions on the packaging.
Nisbets Essentials recommend that this appliance is de-scaled every 3 months or more frequently in
hard water areas.
IMPORTANT: Failure to de-scale or maintain will invalidate your guarantee.
