Threading the sewing machine
Threading upper thread
Please read the following instructions carefully as an incorrect sequence
or thread guiding can lead to broken threads, missed stitches and gathered
fabric.
When the presser foot is lifted, the tension
discs on the upper thread tension regulator
are opened, the thread will run through the
tension discs from the bottom, the upper
thread will sew with tension like this.

1.Before threading the needle, raise the needle to its
highest position by turning the hand wheel .

2. Raise the presser foot lever to the upper position.

3. Put the reel and reel cover into the spool pin .

4. Feed the thread through the thread guide from
the reel.
It’s better to develop a habit
of turning the hand wheel
toward you (as shown),
especially when the upper
thread is already threaded.
Otherwise, the machine will
be knotted by the thread in
the hook.
