CENTRE BRUSH ADJUSTMENT AND
REPLACEMENT

Warning: these operations must be carried
out with the machine off, the key switched
off and with the machine on level ground.
When the centre brush is fairly worn, its
height must be adjusted to recover as much of
the brush consumption as possible.
Loosen the bolts on both sides of the machine,
lower the brush to the ground taking the
A
indicator to the right position in the direction
shown in the figure. The
A
indicator must be
placed in the same position on both sides of
the machine.
If the brush does not operate efficiently
repeat the adjustment operation.
When the brush is very worn, it must be
replaced.
To proceed, lift the case and loosen the bolt
on the left side of the machine, as shown in
the figure.
Remove the cover by pushing it down.
Pull out the worn brush.
