Creating an FTP Site
Go to the
Performance and Maintenance
>
Ad-
ministrative Tools
control panel and open the
Internet Information Services
console. Right-click
the
Default FTP site
folder and choose
Properties
from the menu that appears. In the “Default FTP Site
Properties” dialog, open “FTP Site” and enter a
TCP
Port
number. The port number is normally 21.
Open “Security Accounts” and select
Allow Anonymous Connections
and
Allow IIS to control password
. Make sure the default user ID (composed
of “IUSR” plus the computer name) is unchanged and leave the password
fi eld blank.
