. Pattern box
Before using the pattern box, turn its power on to carry out "Aging" approx.

minutes: the color temperature should
be

K by the adjustment with the color meter, and the luminance should be

by the adjustment
with the luminance meter. When using the pattern box and for a while after its power turns off, the lamp and its
surroundings are subject to high temperatures, so care should be taken when handling.

Procedure for correcting Pattern Box
Note: Be sure to perform the aging correction.

) Measure the measuring point (center of diffusion plate) with the Color Meter (J
63081
).

) Adjust the pattern box so that the color temperature should be
3100
±
20
K by using "VR for adjustment of the color
temperature".

) Measure the center of the diffusion plate with the Luminance Meter BM-
3000
(J
63068
).

) Adjust the pattern box so that the luminance should be
900
±
20
cd/m
2
by using "Knob for luminance adjustment".

) Repeat from

) So that the color temperature should be

K and luminance should be
