the COOLPIX P510 features phenomenal
focal range coverage of 24mm wide-
angle to 1,000mm super-telephoto*.
Included is Vibration Reduction (VR), image
stabilization technology that minimizes blur
caused by camera shake and delivers sharp
images when shooting. Advanced VR is
critical to aid in achieving consistently sharp

Bright f/1.8, 24mm wide-angle lens and highly
advanced VR image stabilization
A specially crafted f/1.8 zoom NIKKOR lens, which includes the use
of High refractive index glass elements, yields sharp images with
high contrast. Its design also helps achieve a highly compact form
factor. The lens’ fast aperture, 4.2x optical zoom and 24 mm wide-
angle coverage* expand creative possibilities, particularly when
shooting indoors or at night. Newly advanced Lens-shift VR image
stabilization helps consistently sharp results by realizing the
equivalent of using a faster shutter speed setting to effectively
compensate for camera shake.

High-speed continuous shooting helps capture all the action
The COOLPIX P510 keeps you ahead of the action with high-speed shooting options.
High-speed continuous shooting enables rapid capturing at 7-fps (approx.) for full-
resolution (4608 x 3456) images*. Other high-speed modes include Sports continuous
mode (approx. 60fps/120fps) and the Pre-shooting cache.

Manual and custom settings for
creating your vision
The dedicated Mode dial provides easy access
to the P/S/A/M exposure modes, while its User
setting mode labeled “U” lets you save your
favorite settings for use at any time. Often used
functions can be assigned to the new
Function button on the face of the camera for
quick access. And, there’s an independent
Command dial that provides finer creative
control over settings while shooting, as well
as convenient functions during playback and
menu operation.
GPS geotagging and logging function
A high-performance GPS system records location data for each shot, and can also log your
movement even when you’re not taking pictures. Add a new dimension to photographic
fun with geo-tagging! Track your progress as you explore and record the location of that
great image. There’s also an Electronic compass to record the camera’s orientation so you
can later view the direction, along with location data, for each shot.
Optimized controls and designed for efficient handling
Versatile reach and range is enhanced by a 3-inch Vari-angle 921k-dot
(approx.) high-resolution Clear color display. Tilt the display as much
as 90° (approx.) upward or 82° (approx.) downward. The handgrip is
designed to help minimize camera shake. A side zoom control stabilizes
handling.
