5. DIN-rail relay (10-830)
5.1. DESCRIPTION
The DIN-rail relay has an extensive number of functions that can be programmed manually.
5.2. INSTALLATION
fig.7
The modular relay 10-830 is designed for mounting in a DIN-rail cabinet and is 1U wide. It
has the same functions as the flush mounting relay 10-837. The relay is connected to the bus
my means of screw terminals. Only a 3-wire connection is possible: a, b and P. Relay 10-830
is provided with a potentialfree relay output with a 230V/3A changeover contact. This relay
output can be used as normally open (NO) or as normally closed (NC) contact (ditto 10-837).
The relay is provided with an additional input (screw terminals M- and P) for connecting a
push button/switch. The relay can be connected to the Nikobus home automation system via
the in- and outputs (see Niko Access Control technical catalogue).
5.3. OPERATION AND USE
Relay 10-830 has the same functions as relay 10-837 (see 3. OPERATION AND USE 10-837).
