The colours of the video image,
or the image in general are too
bright. The colour saturation is set too high. Decrease the colour saturation using the control button.
The brightness was set too high. Decrease brightness using the control button on the
station.
The video signal is too strong. Reduce the signal of the video bus (e.g. rotary control
button on printed circuit board of the camera only
functions if the terminal resistor on the post or on active
function extensions has been placed correctly.)
The terminal resistor at the end of the line is not in its
position. Place the terminal resistor in position
There is no contrast in the colours
of the video image.
The video signal is not strong enough. The connection wire of a surface-mounted camera was
extended, even though this should not be done.
The wire length between two
active video components was exceeded without
permission.
Loss of signals can be partially fixed using rotary control
buttons on active video components (see product
information of the components.)
Check if the number of internal video units does not
exceed the number of units per line.
The terminal resistors have not placed correctly on the
video splitters. Remove the terminal resistors of the relevant components.
Solely the last video component on a line needs a terminal
resistor.
In a building unit with multiple
internal units, only one internal
unit has black stripes on the video
image. Malfunction due to contact resistance.
The P-conductor is not connected correctly.
The terminals were not connected
tightly enough.
Malfunction due to nearby sources of interference such as
external power supplies or
other electrical devices which are not properly shielded. The video splitter or other passive mounted aggregates
must change locations.
Malfunctions due to stray current caused by potential
differences. Check how your cables are laid and try to connect active
components to the mains.
Distorted image. Incorrect video signal as video conductors have been
switched. The video bus does not function if the polarity has been
reversed. Switch the V1 and V2 conductors.
The image should ‘run’. The video signal is out of sync. Check if all the conductors of the video bus have been
connected correctly.
Adjust the signal if necessary.
