The PTS field reports the presentation timestamp of the metadata PES packet in 
which the Nielsen ID3 tag was found. The PTS value, which is truncated to the 
nearest second, should match the PTS of the last audio packet presented to the 
PCM-to-ID3 SDK before the ID3 tag was packaged and released. If this value is not 
set correctly, the Nielsen ID3 tags may fall out of sync with the audio stream and 
result in improper crediting. 

The PTS should advance at roughly the same rate as the tag time.

Comments 

FD CID SID mismatch; FD CID TS inconsistency 

The Comments field may include one or more messages, separated by semicolons.

CID SID and CID TS errors for the two or three tags often follow the appearance 
of a new SID.  

o

 

Such errors may also accompany badly decoded watermarks with incorrect SIDs 
or timestamps.  

If error messages accompany either of these two situations, ignore the errors.
