7.10 Setting the Refraction Distance and the Chart Brightness
1. Remove the cover. (See 5.1.)
2. Turn on the system power.
3. Setting the refraction distance
1) Set rotary switch SW5 on the main board
(34801-BA01) to the value indicated on
the table according to the refraction
distance.
* Choose the closest value to the real
refraction distance.
* The factory setting is 5 (5.0 m).
* The value indicated by the arrow is the
setting.
* Switch settings of 0, 8 and 9 are the
same as setting 1.
4. Setting the chart brightness
1) Set rotary switch SW7 on the main board
to the value indicated on the table
according to the setting distance.

* The setting is within the range of 1 to

smaller and the chart is brighter as the

* The factory setting is 5 (0.0 m).
5. Reattach the removed cover in reverse order.
