5.7 - Guided High (“0”) and Low (“1”) limit switch recognition
ATTENTION! – Programming intended exclusively for rolling shutters with mechanical
blocks for the limit switch.
This procedure matches the motor rotation direction with the
s
and
t
keys on the control device, so that the
s
key raises the rolling shutter and the
t
key lowers it.
Note
– When the limit switches are memorized with this procedure, the two heights are controlled and updated constantly by the “limit switch self-update” function
(see paragraph 6.3).
Before starting the procedure, bring the rolling shutter to the midpoint of its stroke.
01.
Run the
Raise
command by keeping the
s
(or
t
) keys pressed and wait for the rolling shutter to stop automatically as result of the impact of the safety plugs
against the structure
(= upper limit switch “0”)
. Upon completion, release the key.
02.
Run the
Lower
command by keeping the
t
(or
s
) key pressed and wait for the rolling shutter to stop automatically as result of the impact of the rigid anti-intru-
sion springs against the structure
(= lower limit switch “1”)
. Upon completion, release the key.
––––––––––
Note
– After programming, the
s
key will command the Raise motion and the
t
key will command the Lower motion. If the result is not as expected, delete the limit
switch heights (procedure 5.11) and repeat the limit switch recognition process.

5.8 - Enabling automatic High (“0”) and Low (“1”) limit switch recognition
ATTENTION! – Programming intended exclusively for rolling shutters with mechanical
blocks for the limit switch.
This procedure matches the motor rotation direction with the
s
and
t
keys on the control device, so that the
s
key raises the rolling shutter and the
t
key lowers it.
Limit switches will be automatically programmed later on during the first 2-3 manoeuvres for opening and closing the rolling shutter.
Warning
– When the limit switches are memorized with this procedure, the two heights are controlled and updated constantly by the “limit switch self-update” function
(see paragraph 6.3).
Before starting the procedure, bring the rolling shutter to the midpoint of its stroke.
01.
Keep the
n
key pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Upon completion, release the key.
02.
Keep the
s
and
t
keys pressed simultaneously and wait for the motor to perform 3 movements. Upon completion, release the keys.
03.
Hold down the
s
key and,
• if the rolling shutter starts to
Rise
continue to hold the
s
key down and wait for the motor to perform 3 movements. Upon completion, release the key.
• if the rolling shutter starts to
Lower
, release the
s
key and hold down the
t
key, waiting for the motor to perform 3 movements. Upon completion, release the
key.
Note
– When performing the procedure, at any time you can cancel it by keeping the
n
and
t
keys pressed simultaneously for 4 seconds. Otherwise, do not press
any key and wait 60 seconds for the motor to perform 6 movements.
