Audio Output
Caution
If using earphones to listen to the audio output of the NI myDAQ, ensure that the volume is set to a safe level.
Listening to audio signals at a high volume may result in permanent hearing loss.
Power Supplies
Caution
Do not mix power from NI myDAQ with power from external power sources. When using external power, remove
any connections to the power supply terminals on NI myDAQ.
Digital Multimeter Connections
Caution
60 VDC/20 Vrms maximum. Do not plug digital multimeter probes into circuits with Hazardous Voltages, such as
wall outlets.

Replacing the Fuse
The overcurrent fuse is located inside the NI myDAQ device. To replace a broken fuse, remove the four bottom screws and remove
the top of the NI myDAQ enclosure. Replace the fuse with a 1.25 A Fast-Acting sand-filled 5
×
20 mm fuse (Littelfuse part number
02161.25 at
www.littelfuse.com
). Replace the top of the enclosure and tighten the screws before resuming operation of the
NI myDAQ.
