Electrical covering:
Do not expose the germicidal lamp to moisture, steam or splashing water due to the IP20 electrical
enclosure. Do not wipe with a wet cloth, do not touch with wet hands.
Installation of this device has to be completed by professionals, do not attempt to open the case or
repair or install the device by yourself. Otherwise, internal damage may be caused. Warranty
agreement does not cover any damages caused by misuse or negligence.
Impact on the body of the germicidal lamp may cause damage to the internal UV light tube and
leakage of ultraviolet radiation. Therefore, impact on the body should be avoided as much as
possible.
Connection to power grid:
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the germicidal lamp must be connected to the power supply
exclusively by a three-wire movable supply with a protective conductor and a potted electric plug.
Disposal of germicidal lamps after expiration of their lifetime:
After the expiration of the lamp’s lifetime, the lamp can be disposed of only as hazardous electrical
waste in accordance with valid legislation. If the customer is not able to provide such liquidation,
after mutual communication, such disposal shall be provided by the manufacturer of the
equipment that manufactures and markets PROLUX G
®
products in accordance with ISO 14001.
