COBALT POINT REPLACEMENT 

(See Assembly  Drawing  Page 6) 

HELPFUL HINT: 

Leave the unit  mounted  on the drum  to replace cobalt  points.   

 

1.

 

Open the lid  and remove the left and right  shrouds. 

2.

 

Loosen  the bottom  clamp  on the bellows.   There is no need to loosen  the top bellows  clamp,  unless  the 
bellows  are damaged  and need replaced. 

3.

 

Remove  the trough  liner  can stop.   

 

Bellows  may have to be gently  pried  off of lower bushings  to rotate 

assembly  up.

  

Rotate the trough  assembly  upward  and allow  it to rest against  the lid. 

4.

 

Loosen  the setscrew with  a 3/32”  hex key and then replace the point.  Tighten  the setscrew against  the new 
point.   Do not use locktight  on this  setscrew. 

5.

 

Re-assemble  the unit  in  reverse order.   
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CARBON FILTER REPLACEMENT 

1)

 

Remove  the wing  nut on  the top  of the housing  cover.   

2)

 

Lift  off the cover and remove  the used filter  element.   

3)

 

Install  the new filter  element.   

4)

 

Replace the cover and hand tighten  the wing  nut securely. 

5)

 

Dispose  of the old  filter  appropriately.
