For other grating line densities or slit widths not specified in the previous table, multiply the m slit
width setting (mm) by the reciprocal dispersion (nm/mm) to calculate the resolution for each grating.
As a general rule, a grating with 1200 lines/mm will have half the resolution value of a 600 line/mm
grating. Please note that this equation is valid at the blaze wavelength of the grating and does not
take into account the abberations present will narrow slits.
