Communication Specifications 

This chapter describes the communication specifications for this product. 
Single-master-multiple-slave (SMMS) communication method is used for a system configuration in 
which Modbus slaves (PS-7-M series gas detectors) can send/receive data to/from the Modbus 
master.   
It is assumed that the Modbus master (high-order device) is a personal computer, a programmable 
logic controller (PLC), or a fieldbus controller in case of Modbus TCP.
