Bipolar and Two Bipolar
To select this mode at the
“Procedure Setting”
screen highlight the “
Bipolar Electrode”
or
the
”Two Bipolar electrode”
and press
‘Accept’
via the touch screen.
When using the Bipolar or Two Bipolar electrode a bifurcated cable is required, the electrode
connects to Active socket 2 or 2 and 3, with the other end of the bifurcated cable plugged into the
Dispersive connector on the NT1100.
Control during all active modes is identical to the Two Electrode RF modes, and is only available in
Auto mode.
No Thermocouple Operation
When the NT1100 is used with
No Temperature Control Electrodes
, care must be taken to
ensure that the, electrode temperature is limited by the level of RF volts applied
It is recommended that Temperature controlled electrodes are used where possible
