Sustain
Built on the Wet v3 Reverb, Sustain is a magical effect that can be
configured as a sustain effect or virtually infinite reverb. What you play is
recycled in an infinite loop during a hold phase, then decays out during a
release phase.
Gated Plate
This is our Plate reverb with infinite depth and gated by the input level.
This effect works best on percussive sounds and may be used to artificially
lengthen the sustain of the sound’s envelope.
The Time parameter determines how long the gate stays open after
the input level has dropped below the threshold, which is based on the
Sensitivity setting (see Options). The Release parameter determines how
abruptly the gate closes.
TIP:
Increase the Sensitivity (in Options) if the sustain effect
does not trigger; decrease it if the sustain does not release
when you want it to.
