Port mapping commands
This section provides reference information for packet mapping commands.
show maps
Use the
show maps
command to list details of each port map (committed and uncommitted). Details include source and
destination ports for each map, and any required and excluded filters applied to the map.

This command has no arguments or keywords.

set map
Use the
set map
command to create maps and optionally apply filters to them. Maps can be created between physical
ports, and between logical load balancer groups on supported systems. When mapping ports, take care not to overload the
receiving port with excess traffic, such as when mapping a 10G port to a 1G port. In this situation, use filters to reduce the
amount of data received by the output port to 1G only. After setting maps, enter a
commit
command to replace the live
settings on the device with your new configuration.
