6. NETTI SIDE
SUPPORT LATERAL
SWINGABLE
Netti side support Lateral Swingable is developed to
give stability directly to the upper the body.
The side support Lateral Swingable offer extra
support at the front side of the user. It has a
comfortable soft upholstery.
The side support can be adjusted 3D: up-down,
backward-forward, in-out and swung aside. The
front part can be moved inward to follow the users
contours and embrace the user. This can behelpful
for users who have a forward leaning tendency.
The front-part position is fixed by tightening the
screw on the top of the front-part hinge.
Netti side support Lateral Swingable is mounted to
the wheelchair chair-back profiles. It can be swung
aside to make access to the user more convenient.

MOUNTING
Netti Side support Lateral swingable is prepared
for mounting to round and square backrest tubes.
The black enclosed plastic bushing is used when
mounting to square backrest tubes.
After fitting the backrest cushion:,
•
Find the correct height for the side support.
•
If the Velcro back has a cut-out for the side
support, place the side support there.
•
If there is no opening in the Velcro back, cut
a piece of the Velcro backrest fabric to give
room for the clamp to fit around the backrest
tube at desired height.
•
When mounting on a square tube, place the
enclosed plastic bushing around the backrest
tube before fixing the clamp around the
tubing.
•
Mount the clamp and tighten the 6 mm
screws firmly.
