Configuring TCP/IP
If you need TCP/IP, follow these steps:
a.
Press the Add button.
b.
Select Protocol and press the Add button.
c.
Select Microsoft.
d.
Select TCP/IP and press the OK button.
If you need the adapter, follow these steps:
a.
Press the Add button.
b.
Select Adapter and press the Add button.
c.
Select the manufacturer and model of your Ethernet adapter and press the OK
button.
Refer to your Windows 95 manual for further instructions.
5.
Select TCP/IP.
6.
Click the Properties button.
7.
Select the IP Address tab.
8.
Click the Specify an IP address button.
9.
Enter the Host IP address and subnet mask provided by your network administrator or
by your Internet service provider.
10.
DO NOT PRESS OK. Continue with the instructions.
11.
Select the Gateway tab.
12.
Enter the Router IP address provided by your network administrator or by your
Internet service provider.
Remember to use the Add button for each address.
13.
Click Add.
14.
DO NOT PRESS OK. Continue with the instructions.
15.
Select the DNS Configuration tab.
16.
Click the Enable DNS button.
