3. Erection
Note: Depending on the ground surface work with / without rubber cap on the tips.
•
Loosen tie-down strap on the tips
•
Open the side clamping (D) of the three tripod legs (E).
•
Extend Tripod legs to the desired height.
•
Close the side clamping (D) of the three tripod legs (E).
•
Open the locking screws (B) of the three center brace.
•
Position the tripod legs (E) to the desired degree apart.
•
Ensure a good hold on surface.
•
Level up the tripod by centering the bubble at the circular level.
•
Close the three-side clamping (D) and tighten the three screws on the center brace (B).
•
Open the clamp screw top (A) and clamp screw below (C).
4. Always observe when using!
When using heavy instruments
•
Especially when working upwards, the use of heavy instruments can result in slight movements of the
column.
•
In this case, reduce the extension of the column.
When using a cordless screwdriver as a drive for the gearbox
•
The gearbox may be driven with a cordless screwdriver.
•
Always open both clamping screws (A + C) before moving the gear unit.
•
Always close both clamping screws (A + C) when the gear is not moving.
•
Use only cordless screwdrivers with a
maximum
output of 18 volts.
•
Set the maximum speed of rotation to a
maximum
of 350 revolutions per minute (min
-1
).
